Default A spammable shout, "Prepare to die!"

Have any of you seen the movie "The Princess Bride"? In it, the spaniard has dreamt everyday of his life, ever since the man with six fingers on one hand killed his father, that he would meet the eleven fingered man, say to him "My name is <can't spell le name>. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Now, if any of you remember in the movie, the spaniard seems to spam this line a lot, when that dreamt day finally comes, and so I think it would be good to also let this skill be spammable.

Proposed skill requirement: 5 Energy, 3 second recharge.
Proposed skill effect: "If target foe is below 25...50% health, your next three attacks deal +3...20 damage."

In essence, it is much like Final Thrust, only with more variables, easily spammable, and can be used with any weapon. Also, I decided that the damage dealt should be a bit low (I was going to make it 3-40), but because it will be spammable, and you get three attacks out of it (totalling to +60 damage across 3 attacks, at 12 att points), it will even out a bit with the other skills.

Primarily, I think this would be good against bosses, especially those with large health regens. In the case of a boss, constant attacking isn't going to bring them down, and so a person would need to spam it to give it a good effect against a boss. Against normal monsters and enemies, a single shout could very well mean the death of the target foe.

Another thought is that you might require a physical damage weapon. So no casting. Only arrows, spears, and melee.

Edit - I should mention that I did not really think of which attribute this should belong to. Either a warrior or a paragon as for the profession, but I wasn't sure which would fit better. I think it would be warrior, as the paragon is more like a guardian angel, while the warrior is a brute killer. Also, if it were to be a warrior, it would obviously be teeter totter between Tactics and Strength, leaning towards the Strength side.

Sorry, I thought about the attribute after I posted it. I had not yet seen your post either. If you look at it again, I added a little edit note.

I don't like this one, it seems to me that it's once your below 50% health, they're gunna spam you to death, literally. I think maybe if you made it an Elite and then if below 20%-40% health, you deal an extra 3-16.

I like it, and I like the movie.

Might need some number balancing with play test, but over all seem good.

Incidentally, GW already has at least one in-game reference to "The Princess Bride"--the Bonetti's Defense Stance is specifically cited in the movie when Inigo Montoya (the Spaniard whose mantra you wish to make a Shout) was fighting the gallant masked hero.

It's an OK idea, but it's too overpowered as you list it here. With a high level in whatever attribute you'd give it, you add 60 base damage over 3 attacks on a foe that's already suffering: overkill, to say the least. With that kind of power, it wouldn't be allowed to be spammable, at the least, and might have to be made an Elite.

As i said, also thinking about the attribute, it would probably much more belong in Strength. If you think that tactic skills are normally defensive skills, that reduce damage done to you, or heal you, not increase your attack, which Strength does. As a result people are more likely to have a higher level, as Strength is a primary attribute and is, basically required for warriors. This would make it better if it was strength in some ways, as paragons, assassin and dervish wouldnt use it. Making it less powerful, in a sense, that only Warriors could use it, that make sense?

Moose out

Soz ignore the Moose out, force of habit :P

Well then we could easily balance the skill's numbers. Say, only 2-14 extra damage, and it would have to be under 20-40% hp.

Also, along with Bonetti's Defence, there is also Farra Cappo, who is also mentioned in the same scene. I already knew this, and it was actually one of the things that made me think of it.
